Yes, a good read that confirmed much of what I knew. While this one wasn't my war, I knew we lost it right at the start.

Yup, the same as Nam in my time. The American EGO never understood the natives. I could go into tons of details but when you put your main emphasis on attacking a country that didn't attack you what can you expect?? Sure we won militarily, but we never reached out to the people the way we needed until it was too late. Being Bomber Harris is not how to win. We know who those were that lost this and we should never support their ilk/party again!!
