The purpose of the military is violence. Things which do not affect the ability of the military to achieve that purpose are irrelevant, including debates over who people are or who they love.

Who people are and who they love are unrelated to their ability to perform tasks. Define the task, define the conditions, define the standards, the rest is irrelevant: from color of skin, to who someone loves, to who someone prays to, to who someone is. If they meet the standards under the conditions relevant to the task, that's all that matters.

I completely agree, Capt Richard I P., the millitary exists to kill things and break stuff, everyone in the millitary is there to do the killing and breaking, direct the killing and breaking, or enable the killing and breaking. What a SM does woth their genitals is irrelevent to these tasks.
