I am not at all surprised that the 59th superintendent of the U.S. Military Academy LTG Robert Caslen Jr. is thrilled at the historic win of the Black Knights at the 2016 Army navy game at Baltimore, MD after 14 years of losses. As a member of the USMA graduating class of 1975 and a former Black Knight football player I am sure he feels tremendous pride in both the Academy and the football team with its coaching staff, trainers, mascots, etc. Since I entered USMA, West Point in July 1976 I never crossed paths with Robert Caslen as far as I know because he graduated the month before I arrived.
Kudos to LTG Robert Caslen Jr. and the Black Knights.

Once had the opportunity to ask Gen. Dempsey about value of athletics, he like to see players who get knocked down, get up and get back in the fight". Yes great day Saturday, after in the locker-room area, heard Gen. Caslen congratulate the team as did Army Sec. Eric Fanning and Chief of Staff Gen Milley. Coach Jeff Monken dedicated the win to "Every Soldier in a Fox Hole around the world".
