Very interesting, I hadn't realized that. Kinda odd if WV rejected the Confederacy and joined the Union, why the Confederate monuments? You'd think it would be the other way around.

PO1 Brian Austin What was the Major Business of the Western Part of Virginia at the Time? Coal. What is the Rest of the State Mostly Agriculture. Politics and Business. West Virginia Knew it was better to Side with their Loyal Customers in the North. Not that they were that Much Different.
