Thanks for sharing LTC (Join to see) that some WestJet passengers may have been exposed to Measles. many of us have been vaccinated against Measles and many others experienced that disease in childhood. I certainly did.
Yesterday my wife and I were inoculated with live Shingles vaccine against Shingles since we are over 60 years old and TRICARE recommends that inoculation. I had chickenpox as a child, had Shingles as an Infantry Captain at fort being in 1987 [in conjunction with a prostate infection, to boot] and I have been experiencing the follow-on infection of Post-Herpetic neuralgia since 2008.

Sorry to hear you have shingles in 1987. I got my shingles shot last year as well.

Sgt Steven Thomas - I am sorry to learn your wife had Shingles. In my case Shingles was on my back and along the intercostal nerves [floating ribs] on the left side.
The post-herpetic neuralgia [shingles reinfection] is focused on my left side intercostal nerves. I have been taking Neurontin for 8 years now as primary treatment.

I am sure it will not be very widespread now that they know who may be infected. I have my shot against the measles in 2008.
