What a Soldier really gets from the U.S. Army (Paid Content by U.S. Army)

I think I got much more out of military service than my recruiter told me,granted I was in and out in the Sixties when you didn't need all kinds of degrees up the kazoo to get a job!

Luckily for my Recruiter(s), they really didn't have to sell the Army too hard to me.

What I really get from the US Army can't be quantified or tallied.
Nor can what the Army has taken from me.
All in all it has been a good run, filled with fulfillment and frustration, time well-spent and time I will never get back.
I love the Army... and the Soldiers I have had the privilege to lead and follow all these years.
