Really? When you earn those badges and ribbons it comes with a responsibility of putting them on your uniform. I guess outsourcing these tasks is the norm now. I’m just too cheap to pay and still do it myself.

We delegate authority, not responsibility.

Any number of services are available for those who wish to partake... but this falls squarely under the "failure to properly supervise" category (Soldier to Vendor).

If I was inspecting a squad, and there was a jacked up LCpl or Private, the first person I am going to talk to is his Team Leader. The Team Leader is there to make sure "I" don't find that problem, and I (squad leader) am there to make sure the Plt Sgt doesn't find something.

How is this any different than a Pvt employing a vendor? If it makes it past the Pvt, he deserves the butt-chewing for failing to accomplish the task (which he delegated). He still bears responsibility.

I always went to my squad leader for checks. I also rolled sleeves so well, that I got paid to roll sleeves for our Monday morning formations/inspections. I only charged $5 per blouse. It only took me maybe 5 minutes to roll a pair of sleeves.

Do it yourself. Read the regs. Get the "sharp guy " in the unit to give it a look over.
