What Do You Know About the Most Famous Law Enforcement Icon?

The thin blue line has always represented the law enforcement and as I understand it is meant to depict the fragility of maintaining peace.

Between both Military and civilian Police service, I have spent in excess of 40 years in full time Law Enforcement. That thin blue line represents the small number of Police who protect the public from the criminal element.

I know that as an MP, and as a person who is married to one hell of a good Sheriffs Deputy (she made me say that), that it represents everything that myself and my family stand for.
