In 2003, we all had the canvas HUMMWVs and when we found steel plating we did lots of field expedient tests. Blew out the suspensions on more than a couple. Sorry taxpayers.

No problem SFC Mark Merino. Y'all did what you had to do to stay alive and not get injured. Salute.

So he could've use a 30mm cannon from the A-10, or a Bushmaster from a Bradley, I think a 120 smoothbore would do the trick, or VW fired from a 16in gun off a battleship, or that new railgun.

Naw! It wouldn't be as much fun knowing it would blow it isn't little chunks. But, I would like to the Volkswagen shot out of a 16" gun on a battleship, SSG Warren Swan.

After the battleship USS Arizona was sunk at Pearl Harbor, the large guns from the ship were salvaged and mounted on shore batteries around the Island. those batteries were maintained by Army units. My late father in law who was stationed in an Ordinance unit with the US Army had worked on those emplacements and many others there before He was deployed out into the Asiatic Pacific of Operations

SMSgt Lawrence McCarter - Correct me if I'm wrong Senior, but parts of the AZ are still scattered around Pearl. I went on Ford Island and talk about blowing your mind? I was awestruck how nothing has been changed anywhere.

Also the PACAF Hq building on Hickham AFB still has one side of the building covered with bullet holes from the Japanese attack on December 7th 1941 there also had been a mess hall in that same building that 50 men were killed when a 500 lb bomb went through the roof of that dining hall That was repaired and I have eaten in that dining Hall when I was stationed at Hickham AFB, Hi myself in 1971 to 1974 Also on Arizona Memorial You can see the entire length of the ship under the water. There is still oil seeping out from the hull of the ship to this day. My Dad was stationed at Pearl Harbor NS during the Korean War and He said even then there was a mirror in the barber shop that was broken during the attack that was never fixed. the water tower shown here was never hit as the Japanese thought it was just a monument when they flew over it on the attack on Hickham AFB and Pearl Harbor.
