There is a website from an ex-director if Humana that also breaks out healthcare cost. I tried working with a doctor at my current employer to build an app to showcase pricing transparency. It is important for those that have HDHP to shop around for deals, like they would when making a major purchase like a home and car. Prices definitely range from one block to the next.

Well, when they had scheduled for services back in the '60s and '70s from insurance companies and they paid UCR (Usual, Reasonable and Customary) if ten charged $19.00 and one charges $500 then $19.00 is what got paid. Insurance3 companies have been strong-armed by the AMA and Pharma and here we are.
