Looks like more race-baiting projection by the Left.
First, the book is about mass migration of individuals from an impoverished 3rd-world country into a "Western Civilization" country that would be unable to support the numbers and has nothing to do with race. Even the notoriously Left-leaning wikipedia gets this part correct.
"The migrants make their way north, having no desire to assimilate to French culture, but continuing to demand a First World standard of living, even as they flout laws, do not produce, and murder French citizens, such as factory bosses and shopkeepers."
Second, there is not an anti-immigration philosophy in this country or this administration - there IS, however, an anti-ILLEGAL immigration philosophy that is long overdue.
