What is the Optimum Temperature with respect to human mortality?

All this talk about Climate Change and the Paris Accords had me wondering. Just what is the perfect temperature for human survival. According to the study cited in this article people die more often in cold weather than hot. So, for those of you looking for a place to retire, you might want to think about moving to a warmer location.

That could be a good question, first this planet has been much warmer that the predict rise the climate change guys say will happen. Animals and plants did quite well. People currently reside in area's with a much higher temperature range than the predicted. Food should not be a problem as plant will respond positively to this so called climate prediction. Here is my question, if this is all based on CO2 emissions and a higher CO2 rate would not the simple solution be plant more trees and other plants. Maybe we should stop deforestation in the Amazon and other areas, and start replanting in other area's. I taught science for years and the carbon cycle is and plants use CO2 and give off oxygen????????

FYI: Most of our plantlife developed under a much greater concentration of CO2 than we currently have. Increasing CO2 would only help life on the planet.
