Well most political candidates (horn dog Bill Clinton being one of the exceptions) know enough that what is done via earshot or eye sight of the Secret Service eventually becomes public information so it does not surprise me that former President Obama was careful around the Secret Service.

On the other side of the coin, I don't think anyone in the past has said he was mean spirited or did crazy things in private so the article is not a surprised to me.
