I would love to have a government that does absolutely nothing for (or to) me. Just do the basics. Provide for the common defense. Insure domestic tranquility. Secure the blessings of liberty to me and my children. Please stop trying to do all the rest. Then I'll be a happy man...

It is a little too early for credit or blame for Trump and his Administration. I believe we must resist the need to make short term assessment, regardless of the party in power. I prefer to see more of a constitutional approach, this means Congress needs to act.

Congress doesn't have any clue what real action looks like. Most have been in the public sector most of their adult life, and insulated from the consequence of their poor decision-making. Congress refuses to hold themselves accountable and this has gone on far too long! It would not fly very far in the Private sector. Those we have elected to Congress haven't seen anyone do anything constructive and/or productive in so long, they can't even remember what it looks like. Even if FedEx delivered a clue and made them sign for it, they would still be lost and in need of one!
