We are lucky that our Generals tend to be highly educated men who are indoctrinated in the ways of democracy and a respect for the constitution

Very valid opinion. This is a time that officers and all members of the military should remember their oath to a higher moral standard. Contrary to the recent moral and criminal assault on our Marines, anyone who defends, participates or disrespects their battle buddies should find themselves convicted and released or serving time. But this is a moral leadership issue from the top down. Sad times for the Corp. our leadership must maintain the moral high ground.

interesting Most of Our Generals are Generally very well educated and have been given many extra classes and courses on leadership and know the Reasons for the Constitution and it's fundamentals... they are also well experienced and have a grasp In reality and Not been indoctrinated or brainwashed into believing that Progressivism, socialism, or Communism will actually work... at least not with out a brutal Dictatorship...

These same Generals and Admirals are also versed in the dangers to humanity that com part-and-parcel with theocracy, fascism, and excessive nationalism. To specifically target the political left is as dangerous to the republic as is demonizing the right. The reality is that either extreme will undermine basic rights and that most people, when actually educated on the reality of the world at large, will find themselves towards the middle. Unfortunately, the false-dichotomy we are given with the Republican vs Democrat concept makes it very easy to fall into the trap of partisan politics.
