maybe it's the first three subjects being abortion, abortion, and a̶b̶o̶r̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ birth control... Maybe it's just me, but, they come across as trying to fan some flames here.

It would nice if members of the Senate just look at His qualifications instead of making a political thing out of it. Seems they forget it the people in their home states as well as all of us as American citizens they should be thinking about instead of their them vs us political battles. Never mind what person President Trump or any other President offers for a nomination to the court , look at the candidate for who He is and how well He can serve the best interest of the Supreme Court. The dirty, nasty politics shouldn't have any place in this and making a mockery out of what is a very serious matter and putting a candidate through far more than anybody should have to. I say to the Senate and I mean all of You, Democrats and Republics do Your job properly and work together for us the citizens for a change instead of carry on with Your petty bickering ! (one correction I made here was a reference to the House, its only the senate vote that makes the selection)
To answer Your original question, it does sound thus far as a reasonable nomination of this candidate. I have no objections at this point but then like all of us I'm still learning about Judge Kavanaugh so I'll keep an open mind.

CMSgt Horsley, Actually I believe Your correct and I made an edit to reflect that and removed the word House from My posting. That was My oversight, thanks for noticing it.

Pelosi vows to 'avenge President Obama' in Supreme Court fight
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi sent out a dramatic, no-holds-barred fundraising email on Monday saying she is determined to avenge President Obama if it’s the last thing I do by preemptively opposing President Trump's Supreme Court nominee.

And if a frog had wings it wouldn’t bump its all when it jumped.
Unfortunately we seem to be living in a very polarized time. What a shame.

Short of nominating Schumer or Pelosi the left leaning media will never accept anyone a republican President nominates. They will bring up every stupid idiotic thing they can to discredit that person. I agree with others, a good candidate should have experience at the federal level, not be a political pawn and hopefully try to interpret the rule of law not make the rule of law like some judges have been doing at the federal level.
