Not really surprised a lot of this is still going on. Bureaucracies move at their own pace, and it is never a rapid one. Thanks for the great post, Don.

PO2 Robert Nichols - Amen! Someone needs to figure out a way to hold everyone involved in bureaucratic stagnation individually responsible for their share in the problem. The problem is too many of them don't want to take responsibility because of the associated accountability. Everyone wants someone else to make the decision, so no one does. The problems just keep being passed around in an endless cycle of ineptness and lethargy.

It seems to ne that it's up to is veterans to keep the pressure on the bureaucrats by beinging these issues tonthe general publics eys as well as the politicians. One way is to forward articles like this to your state representatives, especially the pdf file response to the VA.

SSgt Donald Libby - I fully agree. Everyone interested in the quality of care veterans receive should be active in making sure this never gets out of the news sphere until the comments/columns are positive instead of repeatedly negative.
