Yes, because we do not want to associate the Confederate Flag & Heritage with Racism and White Nationalism because you know- Free Speech and stuff. And these people are just one of the reasons why the Confederate Flag is seen as a symbol of Racism and the words Confederate Heritage as words for the same......

Fascinating how people blame Obama for the diversity and hate in the U.S. When in reality, it's always been here, laying dormant until Obama brought out the racist hiding in the woodwork. Now, Trump has empowered and energized them by appointing Steve Bannon, a known white supremacist sympathizer, as top strategist.

In as much as KKK, Neo Nazis, Black Lives Matter, Black Panthers, Anti Muslim, anti government or any other hate group..pick one from the Southern Poverty Law Center website (all races and beliefs are captured...sickening graphic)...sicken me and are deplorable in their extreme beliefs, they have the right to protest legally and peacefully...that is what I fought for and will defend...as wrong, offensive, and crazy as they are they still have the right to protest till the end...that is guaranteed by the constitution. Just because one belief doesn't agree means that we have to squelch the other because we are offended.
Do I agree with any them...absolutely not and I will stay away from any protest like this...won't even go out of curiosity. It will more than likely turn violent unfortunately and then they need to jack all of them up and put them away. I think that to say they have been emboldened by the Trump Presidency is a little much...IMHO. Just because hate groups back a president doesn't mean they were empowered by him. In as much as I didn't agree with Obama on much of anything I don't believe at all he empowered Black Lives matter and Black separatist groups...they just were more prominent during his presidency. Just my two cents. Just as Trump isn't doing anything to renounce these actions, Obama didn't do much of anything to stop the other...too much of a political booger I guess. If you are in this area, I suggest you take a vacation or stay at home...less people there the less is said and they will go home.

If a person is supported by a group, that person obviously empowered them. A group consist of many individuals who comes together on a common belief and core value. If the group supports an individual for leadership, it's clear that that person has empowered them. There's no other explianation.

Just like the previous administration? As the LtCol Scott Shuttworth, there are extremists on both sides of the racial spectrum. Either should be supported, especially by our elected officials. The more publicity they get, the more empowerment.

SGT (Join to see) - You can still agree on the support aspect because the constitution is the constitution and until or if it is ever amended I will defend it. We as a nation get too wrapped up in the My feelings are hurt mentality and don't realize that everyone has a different view...not right or wrong...just different and we as Americans need to respect that as long as protests are held legally and peacefully...when they aren't then laws are broken and we need to arrest and haul away.
However, the previous admin supported all of the rioting and looting when BLM took over places. Even sent White House staff and admin people to meet with victims and not the other side on numerous occasions...how one sided is that? You can't be objective when you do that. Not saying Trump is perfect or right in this area by any means but I don't think any sitting president has had clean sheets on this subject. The others were just so overt that America just looked the other way.
