I'm on the Trump is an &$$ wagon. I'm going to side with Glenn Beck on him, basically he compared the rise in anti-establishment Trump sentiment with the same feelings (but to a lesser degree) that what happened in 1920 Europe. I have no expectations that tRUMP is even remotely capable of unifying our country, coming with a functional plan to meet his promises, or turning our economy around. tRUMP is another big government anti liberty candidate that is against everything I stand for. (but not as bad as the Democratic candidates)

Trading in the complacency and inability to take actions on the part of the GOP with a egotistical, self-centered, tell you what you want to hear candidate (regardless of whether it's true or realistic) is not progress. All the GOP has to do is put an acceptable candidate up, retain control of Congress, and we would have had a chance to start moving toward the right direction. Trump's direction will be based on how much people scream for something. This makes it a crap shoot... Unless Hillary is indicted in the course of the election, Trump will likely lose IMO.

Note, much of the inaction I speak of on the GOP's part is not entirely their fault. The Dems have played an effective long game where they've backed the GOP into public opinion corners they can't easily escape from. But the overriding fact that few Trump supporters understand or at least appreciate, is that if you cannot override a presidential veto with a Democrat President, there is very little you can do without pissing off a significant portion of your base.

TSgt Frank Shirley - First of all, all caps (i.e. yelling) isn't necessary. Secondly, what the hell are you talking about?

Thanks for the post. Myself - I'm still on the wait and see list. We still have a ways to go. Time will tell.

Based on the test that went around on here a couple of times It said Rubio each time I did it. So I guess he best aligns with my Political views. There was another thread that said to list your world views. Been thinking a lot about that. Would be interesting to see the RP members opinions along those lines. Being Vets and active duty I'm guessing a very large percentage would be conservative. Most Dems don't like the military, much less serve in it.
