Who Should Pay for a Date?

It was never an issue with me. I always took my date to the best restaurants, then a movie or dancing; whatever she felt like. And, I should add, I never expected anything in return. It's Valentine's week, so my wife and I went on a mini date today. She felt like fish prepared a certain way, so we drove 62 miles to her favorite place and back. I'll never get tired of doing this, and I know she won't either.
