I sit in the Force Management Office here in the Pentagon. There has been much talk of reducing higher level headquarters over the last 4 years and we have seen that. Frankly, I think this is a great move. Now what we have to do is trim down the efforts that these Generals are leading. We can't just get rid of staff officers and then expect the same things to continue. We have to set expectations when this cut is made.

No stretch at all, LTC. Every time you make a co-pay for health care, you are helping to finance tax breaks and subsidies engineered, at some level, by Grover Norquist.

COL (Join to see) - Wow, I bet that isn't a popular opinion at the O Club (do they have O Clubs anymore?). I agree by the way, but I'm out of the system.
I went through the "Streamlining" that went along with the Goldwater-Nichols Act. Maybe it's time for another radical change in how we operate.
