Why Do Some Evangelicals Stand in the Way of Banning Child Marriage?

Why do some reporters significantly skew data to support their viewpoints in a way that undermines their own argument. How many of the Child to Adult weddings are outside the 5 year window, hardly any at all, primarily because a judge already needs to consent to the wedding... This is a straw argument that cherry picks data. While I don't see the link between child marriages and homosexuals the conservative group claims, I don't see this as a significant item where legislatures should be focusing their attention.

It is pretty universal that American families distain any marriage between a mid teenager or younger and a mid 20's or older adult.

Interesting news share, IMHO 16 should be the lowest age, and 5 yrs difference in age.
