Thank you my friend MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. for posting the the common sense response of Walter Heyer who runs the Sex Change Regret website.
There has been enough documentation about very young people who were convinced they needed to go through gender reassignment surgery who realized after they matured that they made a serious error in judgement.
""We don't know if they're suffering from autogynephilia transvestic fetish disorders, if they have dissociative disorder, bipolar disorder, body dysmorphia. As a Christian, I do not have problems with gays, transgenders or whatever! I have family members who are Gay and I love them as I do my own children. My beliefs, I get from the Holy bible: The Bible defines marriage in Genesis 2:24 as a union between one man and one woman. Jesus Christ upholds this definition of marriage in Matthew 19:5, as does the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 5:31. Any and all sexual activity which takes place outside of this context is treated as sinful, what Jesus calls ‘sexual immorality’ in Mark 7:21.

I shocked many while I worked in HQDA G-4 for many years [mobilized and consultant]SFC Chuck Martinez. I noticed a transgender [man to woman] was ostracized [he had been a LTC in that organization before his gender reassignment surgery] I made it a point to say hello to this individual and treat her respectfully. That shocked a number of my fellow Christians but it helped my demonstration of the love of Christ. HE accepts each of us as we are.

Walt Heyer is not any type of authority. If you read his history you would learn he was never transgender. He was misdiagnosed as transgender then transitioned. He should be talking about misdiagnosis in the medical field. He makes a living for attacking transgender persons claiming he regretted his transition and so will everyone else. I bet anyone that wasn't transgender in the first place that transitioned would regret it.

I believe this Trans gender issue, is a private and personal issue, Why would any government, from federal on down, have to worry about what other people are, or prefer to in reference to theirs genders!
