Funny how the right was so up in arms about Obama circumventing congress with executive orders and is now completely silent on Trump, who is rapidly setting a record for most executive orders issued by a POTUS. For what its worth, Obama issued far fewer than his four immediate predecessors.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - If you control the Senate, the House, and the Office of the President, there really isn't a need for Executive Orders. None of the orders have been "to keep things going." They've all been to further his personal agenda - and absolutely could have, and should have, been done through Congress - the right way.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - EOs are not what all presidents do. What they all do is retain much of the previous administration's staffs where practical, and non-appointed civil servants assume those duties in cases where previous staffs do not remain.

LTC (Join to see) - Unfortunately this president feels he's smarter than everyone, so chose not to retain staff that can help/bail him out. So he pushes out EOs because no one is there to tell him not to (or is afraid to).
