So because they put drug dealers in prision they shouldn't get a vote? What is so wrong about solid economic policy that will create jobs thereby reducing crack addictions and subsequently reducing the prision sentences? Look you have me defending the Clintons who would have ever guessed that?
This is a fine example of why Big Government Fails, unfortunately his solution in the article is more big government, more socialism and more of the same that created the problems to begin with.

The three strikes law was freaking awesome Bill. Nothing quite like touting you represent everyone, and go out of your way to make a law that clearly affected one particular demographic. But I guess if the ghettos had more successful entrepreneurs, who did coke instead of crack (being that coke is an ingredient in crack) it would be ok. You should be ashamed of that law. But none of those who were affected by it got a pardon did they Bill?

Capt Walter Miller - No. Three strikes was one f'd up law. They even showed while he was IN office how wrong it was. You could have someone steal candy three times, and they wind up with a mando life sentence? Where is the fairness in that? And the drug laws were clearly slanted. Crack was known to be a thing in the urban centers (poor blacks and whites), where coke was seen as a "cool" recreational drug of choice for the more well to do whites. Could you imagine Charlie Sheen doing life for all the stuff he's pulled in regards to drugs and alcohol? If the law was applied equally, he'd be UNDER San Quentin right now.

Capt Walter Miller - In this "Team" the real "winners" are those who don't vote for her. Same with Bush. This entire candidate field is filled with washed up has been's, dreaming wanna-be's, never will's, and one man's ego. No matter who is in the White House next year, America short of a miracle isn't going to be better off for it.
