Interesting. Both China and India have enjoyed blossoming economies thanks to the fact that both allowed capitalism to take hold in selected portions of their populations. Both are highly dependent on access to U.S. consumer markets for much of their economic sustenance. Both are building modern armed forces. Both are extending their reach into outer space. Both hunger for natural resources, especially energy and food. Both have nuclear capability. The parallels are uncanny, aren't they?
