People in democratic regions tend to take COVID more seriously and are less likely to goto in person polling locations and people in Republican regions take it less seriously and are more likely to show up at in person voting locations.
That and the ease of voting issue. Those are what I suspect the reason to be.

You are saying that republicans don’t take the Covid as serious which is wrong and I vote in person cause there is less chance of fraud but I’m sure you will tell me that I’m wrong again cause I’m sure you don’t think there is any mail in voter fraud SPC Kevin Ford

LCpl Brad Gross - I say Democrats "tend" to take COVID more seriously than Republicans because that's what the research tells us:
https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2020/04/02/5-facts-about-partisan-reactions-to-covid-19-in-the-u-s/
I never made any claims about mail in voter fraud. However, what the npr.org article says reflects the current research on this:
"While election experts say fraud in mail balloting is slightly more common than in in-person voting, it's still such a minuscule amount it's not statistically meaningful."
The problems with mail in voting right now are more logistics than fraud.

5 facts about partisan reactions to COVID-19 in the U.S.
Republicans and Democrats have similar views on some aspects of the coronavirus outbreak, though areas of significant disagreement remain.

But do you think something like the population in certain areas could play a part in this cause the biggest liberal communities have high population and high Covid cases so people are less likely to want to vote in person but this narrative is push by democrats voting is a right but winning fair is the real issue in both sides of the isleSPC Kevin Ford

LCpl Brad Gross - I don't see what your post has to do with mail in voting?
To be fair based on new case counts I suspect a whole bunch of Republican controlled areas are about to start taking COVID a lot more seriously than they have before.

I see the issue of handling mail in ballots in far greater quantities than is normal and the related logistics of the process of greater concern than fraud. There is no doubt that fraud should be of concern so that actions can be taken to assure there is no more than exists today.

I am not a fan of universal mail in balloting. I do support absentee voting for those who can't get to the polls on election day; I have voted ahead of an election at a designated location knowing I am on duty on election day. I have also used mail in ballots. If we have some sort of verification system, I am less concerned but having had multiple ballots mailed to me even after asking for them to stop, I do have concerns about the mail system. And recently a USPS employee was charged with mail fraud for changing information on ballots.
