Methinks the author of this review has an agenda. Heller's Catch-22 was written as a farce to expose the absurdity of war, a point of view that I suspect few of us would find fault with. The author of this piece seems to be reading more into it, a more contemporaneous view that war protesters could easily identify with. I am looking forward to the new incarnation of Catch-22 with some trepidation, fearing that the progressive Left (who rule the popular culture) will use this classic to further propagandize their point of view.
