Damn straight. I'll use the M9 bayonet for an example. When it came out, it was raved about. It looked mean, it was multi-function - wire cutter, saw and bayonet. First time in a bayonet target and not pulled straight out, blade snapped in half. First time cutting wire, blade breaks at wire cutter site. Yeah, I kept my personal M7.
