Everyone knows the Incredible Hulk has a little bit of an anger problem, to put it mildly, but we got to see him undergo quite the exciting character arc in the Marvel Cinematic Universe starting with the movie Thor: Ragnarok. We learned he’s capable of more than just smashing and fighting and, in Avengers: Infinity War, we learned he’s also frustrated by his relationship with Bruce Banner.
The movie Avengers: Endgame presented a solution to this, but we think it looks just a little bit too perfect. We’ll explore a fan theory that explains why Professor Hulk in the MCU might not be a good thing after all. Sure, he starts out helpful by helping out with the Quantum Realm and time travel, but could this eventually lead to him becoming an out of control version of himself from the comic books known as the Maestro? Were Natasha Romanoff and Steve Rogers put off by his new appearance or was it because of his abrupt personality change? Should anyone really be that happy in light of the decimation?
What do you think about the idea that our favorite big green superhero could become a serious danger to himself and others in the future? Is this new fusion just too good to be true or has he finally reached a happy equilibrium?
