Kidding. This bourbon is pretty smooth. It's been a while since I've had it. I found it a lot more back home in Massachusetts. It doesn't have that sour tang you might be used to if you drink Blanton's or Eagle Rare. It has a subtle smoky note. It's not as pronounced as say black label scotch. This particular brand is finished in port wine casks, and that infuses it with a cognac flavor.

PO1 (Join to see) Sounds like they use various casks. A friend’s Italian made wine did not survive the trip to Brazil. How does bourbon handle manage to handle a sea voyage?
