Given Russia's poor marksmanship, I think they could base the F-16's in Russia and let Putin destroy the surrounding countryside there.

LTC Eugene Chu, I can see the concern by the Ukrainian President! Russia will be trying to eliminate these aircraft as a high priority... Integrating these F-16's into the Ukrainian systems will be time consuming in my view as well as possibility that Russia will most likely upscale their efforts to take these craft out with more attacks throughout Ukraine...

I'm not sure about the problems you see with integrating F-16's into Ukrainian systems. They were dealing with the problems of launching Western weapons from the Soviet-era warplanes they had. The F-16's were built to launch them. Indeed, my understanding is that the F-16's being delivered to Ukraine have upgraded systems and are ready for the latest Western weapons.

CPT Jack Durish - You probably have more info on the F-16's and what Ukraine was using from the Russian craft before we became involved in their war... I haven't studied Russia's aircraft and what they provided to Ukraine before going to war with them... It will be interesting to see how this plays out...

CPT Jack Durish - Just flipped to YouTube and low and behold, Russia's Only aircraft carrier was SUNK with 30 New-Gen AU-57s onboard, by Ukrainian F-16s!!! Ah, but it was a simulation! Looked real!!! LOL!
