If you pay it off each month, its fine. If you don't, maybe not

My USAA AMEX card gives 5% Cashback up to $3000 in in purchases per year (then 2% up to $3000 per year for supermarket & 1% regardless on everything)
Though I don't know if this is part of the card or an offer I got in 2018 I get to keep.

*5% on gas
One I always use for gas, nothing I know of beats that.

USAA has a 1.5% cash back card on all purchases. If I need to use a credit card that is the one I use.
