So what? Why is this even a story? The military is 17% Black, 12% Hispanic, 4% Asian, and 7% "Other". Only 16% of the military is female.

Engineering, Architecture, Mining, Construction... A majority of all of those jobs are held by white males.

And does anyone care to guess why a majority of jobs are held by white males? Or in some cases, white females? Because we live in a country whose majority demographics are white males and white females.

You can't employ people in a field who don't apply for jobs or acquire an education in said field. I'm so tired of seeing crap like this. The only people who are at fault for the disparity are the people not choosing to get into these career fields where their demographic is "underrepresented".

One of the biggest reasons that race and gender are such huge "issues" is because Democrats and the media make them issues with crap like this and make these particular groups believe that they're victims of anything other than the limitations that they put on themselves.

Like SSG (Join to see) said, you can't employ people who aren't applying. And let me tell you, minorities are (in general) not applying for security positions.

Plus, your company should ONLY hire who is qualified for the position. I don't give a shit what gender you decide to be that morning, or what your Ethnicity is, if you can do the job well and not be an asshole, I will hire you.
