Women veterans transitioning out of the military and you need familiar comrades who speak your language and provide safety in numbers, read about the Disabled American Veterans Service Organization and it's Women Veterans initiatives. There are other VSO organizations. Just choose one and get connected to familiar minded people.

Absolutely, all veterans. I am a life member. I wanted to give back to the community of people who served and having a special connection to other women. I have a service connected disability. But since then I have developed some serious issues can I put in another claim. It is unrelated to my first one I think?

I have a long list of medical problems from chemical exposure while I was on duty. My VSO is filing claims for two or three at a time because it is easier to appeal denials that way. If you can prove your problems are service connected you can make a claim.
