If you would be a progressive, you must understand what is progressivism. Likewise, if you would fight against it, you must know your enemy. That is why I highly recommend the new Hillsdale on line course Constitution 101. It's free. However, if you don't trust a conservative professor to interpret progressivism for you, you may want to go to the source. The speech "What is Progress" was delivered by Woodrow Wilson, former President of the United States, to define and sell progressivism to the American people. [Note: This copy of the speech is made available on the Hillsdale website as part of their Constitution 101 class which should tell you something about the integrity of the course]

I'm for progress with all things, but if what the extremes are doing sets the bar, I'm definitively not a progressive. Once you read Deming it sticks with you.
