The Procurement Forester will manage a region to supply the best value wood to support Rayonier Advanced Materials (RYAM) facilities. Continuity of supply, low costs, and acceptable quality are key goals. Develop sources of supply and manage them weekly to supply RYAM’s wood needs. These will include not only gatewood sources, but also committed sources within agreed targets. This could also include the cruising, evaluation, purchase, and harvesting of tracts of standing timber (TPAs.) Understand the RYAM mill processes and manage the quality of the wood delivered to those facilities. Operate within Southeast Wood Procurement’s (SEWP’s) SFI guidelines and RYAM’s Code of Corporate Conduct.
