This is interesting. Those new to the military, before you retire, you may be working intelligence or combat against China. We were lucky projecting strength in Russia during my time. We protected and would cause a heavy price for the Russians to pay taking our allies. Taiwan is very vulnerable. Not sure if we do as much for Taiwan as we did for Germany, Italy and Turkey. It will be an interesting career for those coming in. (Remember, they old guys at the start of my career did not know what the heck the future would be for my career...I do not know your future.)

All I can say is President Obama, Al Gore, Jerry Brown and all the people who embrace the climate change scam mentality are totally wrong! The biggest threat to the world is not global warming. The biggest threat to your pocketbook is Democrats and posing carbon taxes but the real threat to the world is the rearmament of Iran, Russia and China against the Free World. Wow Al Gore, Jerry Brown, the greens and the Socialists are all worried about climate change and Micronesia and the Sea Rising 10ft, consider what would happen if it was an upir exchange between India and Pakistan? What would happen if they're getting new clearxchange than Israel and Iran? Or do United States against Russia? Global cooling! So those of you counting your money from the carbon taxes in California, Canada and the European Union, put all those greedy thoughts aside and worry about what could happen if there was global cooling!

Correction, voice text. I mean nuclear Exchange between India and Pakistan, between Israel and Iran or if we fight China and Russia in a nuclear Exchange. There goes all I was billions of dollars in carbon taxes that you would have collected from the people you're trying to scare. It is scary already I'm already paying $0.50 a gallon more for gasoline in Canada and in the wind middle of winter I have $29 added to my gas bill for carbon taxes which is a crock of crap!

The funny is the Paris Accord treated China like it was a poor developing country and they dodged a lot in the Paris Climate accord. BUT, they are a polluter that impacts Korea and other countries. It was a good scam to hurt US and other developed countries.

SSgt GG-15 RET Jim Lint I personally think of that green piece and many of the protesters are sponsored or funded by OPEC and Russia. This save the Earth, not in my backyard syndrome is playing into the hands of OPEC which does not follow environmental stewardship. You have tribes in Canada some that are pro and against pipelines who are fighting tooth-and-nail to prevent pipelines from going to the Pacific coast. The US and Canada or energy powerhouses but you have idiots like Jane Fonda flying over the tar Sands area in her own jp-8 helicopter telling Canada not to develop these oil areas! The environmentalists are driving cars or flying personal Jets to protest the use of energy. What a crock of crap and what hypocrisy from Hollywood and from the Beltway!

What do you expect from Jane Fonda! or Hanoi Jane.... But, you are correct that people have to look at those that benefit. OPEC does not want Canada or US or anyone not in their team to develop and pump oil or gas. It is not in their interest....but we get environmentally emotional. I thought Al Gore said NYC would be under 10 foot of water by now? It might cool off the area.
