Yes I was told when I asked for help that I wasn't the right kind of veteran and they couldn't help me!

Did they tell you why you're not the"right type?" WWP has criteria that keeps their resources pointed towards veterans injured or wounded in combat theatre. If you met that criteria, I would suggest you call again. Unfortunately sometimes there's that one employee who's too lazy to do their job. Good luck!

As a "Wounded Warrior Alumni" they've helped me a lot. They provided blankets, bedding and clothes when I returned, ensuring that I had more than just my sand covered uniform. They helped me with my VA compensation process and got it done in months, versus the years that some have had to endure. They ensured that I got a good rating. They've helped me move. Twice. Currently, WWP is overseeing my VA reevaluation for higher percentage. They've been nothing but good to me. I don't know what's going on in their bureaucracy, but it hasn't put a negative impact on me or my family or any of my friends who are also associated with this organization. Whatever trouble they might be having, I hope they straighten it out.
