Thank you my friend MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. for posting the grammar lesson.
I learned long ago to use semicolons when constructing lists of phrases: the gerunds are revolting; the diphthongs are delirious; and the past participles are getting ahead of themselves :-)

I have a minor in English...had a HS teacher who would give you an F if you made a comma splice!

Most of what it states I already knew. I don't agree with some of it. Grammar has changed a lot since I was in school. Thanks for the share.
