That is interesting SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that TRADOC is hosting its inaugural Mad Scientist Science Fiction Writing Contest, according to a TRADOC press release. The topic for the competition is “Warfare in 2030 to 2050.”
Hopefully the results won't create a panic like the Radio reading of H.G. Wells classic "War of the Worlds" did on October 30, 1938.
Disclaimer: in the early 21st century I participated in exercises with OSD and the Military Services looking into mid-to-long term requirements while I was mobilized and after I demobilized.
