Ha, ha my friend CW5 Jack Cardwell it seems ludicrous to me that the Cairo Egypts International Garden municipal park zoo could be charged for painting donkeys to appear to be zebras.
If it was radioactive or lead based paint I could see animal cruelty.

1. Egyptian student, Mahmoud Sarhan, took images of the suspicious beast and said "that the zoo's two zebras were obviously painted donkeys, a view that has since been embraced by online animal experts."
2. Zoo director Mohamed Sultan told a local radio station that his zebras are real, dismissing claims that they are just painted donkeys, according to the BBC.
This report seems to indicate there is only one type of Zebra.

Well, on the behalf, you have to remember that Egypt is in northern Africa with an extremely large Sahara Desert between them and the zebras environs.
