About time. The Corps has 3-4 per platoon. The Army traditionally seems to have about that number per company with a tremendous amount of unsupervised time for recruits.

I had three and three was enough. But Boot Was a lot of BS too, mess duty, guard duty, added two weeks for essentialy nothing. Those two weeks would be better spent in conditioning and basis 03 skills. Hate to say it but boot isn't near long enough, you can't do all that in 11 weeks. And a minimal AIT program.
