Despite what civilians tout, they cling to legacy job descriptions. This is suppose to be a modern, nimble economy. Do you think a US Marine or Navy Corpsmen knows something inherently about being nimble? I ask you, if we don't who the hell does?

Nah. No amount of gerry-rigging my resume will help. Despite all of the hours of education, experience, etc. ive fallen into that category of "The employer doesnt want to pay someone of your experience". I get you wanna help but i really do not think you are in a position to be of any real help. Grunts, Corpsman and other "Combat Creatures" are usually the last folks to be asked for employment beyond something you would give a high school kid. Hard won experience has taught me a few things and one of those is that the civilian world really doesnt care too much about veterans except as a tax write-off. i mean if you know someone powerful enough to get my foot in the door then that would be a different matter. i finally said to hell with it and started a small business. It seems to be a more productive use of my time than being lied to via policy.
