Am I allowed to bring a full-sized bible to basic training at Fort Benning?

Am I allowed to bring a full sized bible to Basic or do I have to bring just a small one that only contains new testament?

You can bring your own bible.
You’ll have a “personal shelf/space” to keep those items in your locker.
That, and you can always get a bible from your units chaplain.
You will also get to attend religious services every week.

They issued a small Bible with the Psalms and New Testament in my day. If your BCT is anything like mine, you won't have time to read it.

Same thing for me Sir, so I went across the street from the barracks on Sundays, and the Chaplin read it to us. Even in the field too, we really appreciated our unit Chaplin, still today I can see his face in the C-130/C141 before jumping, and having a few encouraging words with the rest of the jumpers.

Most chaplains in the military are prepared to administer non-denominational services. Other than the Catholic priests, there are other chaplains that focus on a certain form of service, one in which are the LDS Chaplains.
