We are testing them for reliability with the F-15 EX. It is still an exceptional fighter, but I would hesitate to give them stealth technology until they have been consistent allies for quite awhile.

CPT (Join to see) There seems to be great wisdom in your commentary. The long feud with Pakistan might be of concern when giving them stealth tech. Yet, US policy makers (and I am ONLY guessing here) might also see it as a way to create two FRONTS should we have to ultimately go to war (I hope not) with Iran, if the area become a raging tender-box, especially, if the USA is somehow struck again.

Having "certain" capabilities as near term assets is something the US has used since emerging as a "Superpower" to protect "American interests". We'll have to watch this very closely!

The Indian Navy is formidable (not in the same way as the US Navy) but could still create headaches for PLAN supplying the Iranians via the Indian Ocean. Likewise we could conceivably operate in tandem with the IAF to strike Eastern Iran. Afghanistan would most likely not be truly combat effective (IMHO).

Thanks for sharing, F-15 is still a great aircraft but technology is rapidly making it obsolete. Standoff kills and stealth, not dogfighting are the facts of life today.
