Considering the Infantry at 32 years old?

Been talking to a recruiter about joining the Army and despite me looking at other MOS I keep coming back to the infantry.
I know it comes with a lot of bs tasks that get assigned in garrison ect ect
I am more asking those that have been/are 11B if they think someone in their 30's could hack it.
A little about me, I am not the picture of fitness but not overweight. In my current job, I do archaeology. I walk all day with a weighted pack, I dig holes in the ground, carry equipment. for 8-10 hours a day in all weather, for normally 10 days at a time.
I am working on my running, it has been a long time since I ran but been using sprint/jog sessions to work on my run times and hikes with a weighted pack, push-ups, sit-ups, all of that. Not looking to go Ranger or anything like that, just get in, listen, learn, serve.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I became an 11B when I was 28, my last squad had a guy that came in at 30. It’s hard but not impossible, I’m 35 now and I don’t feel as though I’m having any more difficulty than the younger guys. If Infantry is in your heart, go for it.
