I feel like I need to post an update, not that anyone specifically here would need to know, but today I turned in my capstone project for my Bachelor's Degree in Homeland Security and Terrorism. As I turned it in, it hit me, I am done with this chapter in my life and moving on to other growth. I will graduate with an overall GPA of 3.97 and a 4.0 in my major and zero debt. Without the Army, I may have never went back to school... and without the Guard Scholarship program I would have had to pay over $50k to do it.

I encourage everyone that still has the option to do so, further your education and use the benefits we all work so hard to get!
