I too was in 4/3 FA sir! Think we might've crossed paths. My cohort unit came from Ft Hood to Garlstedt in the summer of 85!

In Bushnell, IL., there is M108 105mm Howitzer in the park along IL41. And it is on same chassis as the M109 series of howitzers.
