Any 13F’s? And if so opinions on your MOS?

Thinking about a re-class into MOS 13F and was wondering if anybody had information on the MOS, duties, day in the life garrison/deployed?

Spent 9 years as 13F. Went from 13F10 to 13F40 before going warrant. It is a great way to serve and the stories you hear about 13F are all true.

Do it. Loved being an FO. Garrison is usually chill, deployments are a bitch

Was a 13F in the middle 70s to middle 80s. The 13F was just coming into its beginning and we were considered bastard children by both Artillery and Infantry units. Neither wanted to take us into the HQ units. We usually got the shitty details and guard duty’s until some E6 and E7s got into the MOS and we got to show them we could be beneficial to both of the gun bunnies and the infantry. I was a 62c in the NG and went back into regular Army and got 13f in Fort Sill where the course was taught by a Marine Gunny Sgt. who was a great instructor. Did a tour in Korea and was sent TDY back to Sill to learn to operate the DMD system to teach our next units on the system. There’s nothing like hitting a target that you called in.
